Consent

  • The applicant is in the process of completing their consent form. Consent and personal information must be provided by the applicant before the background check can begin processing.
  • Some of our partners have a second consent included as part of their process. In this stage, the background check was processed but may contain information that could lead to Pre Adverse Action. Before the report can be provided to their potential employer, we require the additional consent from the applicant.

VerifyingThe background check is processing, but the applicant's information must be manually reviewed and verified by a Turn Agent. This typically happens if the information provided by the recipient does not match what is found in public records. In order to continue processing the background check, we will reach out to the applicant via email and SMS to request the required documentation.

Compliance Review: Potentially adverse information may have been found while conducting the background check. Before the report is shared, our Compliance Team will review the information for accuracy. If selected, our Compliance Team will provide adjudication services based on your determined matrix.

First NoticeThe background check is complete, however the findings of the report do not meet the guidelines provided by the potential employer. The applicant has received their Pre-Adverse Action Notice and has the opportunity to dispute any information on the report as inaccurate or incomplete.

Second Notice: The background check is complete and the applicant did not respond to their Pre-Adverse Action Notice. A second notice has been sent to the applicant, notifying them that Adverse Action has been taken.
