Understanding Results from a Drug Test

When the results from a Drug Test are received, we will upload a PDF to your dashboard. These results will also be made available to the applicant.

Here are the results that may be shown a completed report:

• Negative  - The testing did not detect the presence of any of the substances that were included in the screening.
• Positive - The presence of one or more of the substances included in the screening was detected.
• No Show - The window of time that the applicant was provided to visit the testing facility has expired. A sample was not collected. 
• Negative Dilute - The urine specimen did not detect the presence of any substances that were included in the screening, but the sample had a greater concentration of water than a typical urine specimen. 
• Positive Dilute - The presence of one or more of the substances included in the screening was detected, and the sample had a greater concentration of water than a typical urine specimen.
